Spring is a season of renewal, and so is this release. Over the past few weeks, we've shipped three updates that make Popwork more powerful, more personal, and more global. Here's what's new.
Commitments: a smarter way to track what gets done
The biggest update in this batch is one we've been building toward for a while.
We're replacing Action items with Commitments - a richer, more structured way to make sure the decisions made in your 1:1 meetings and check-ins actually translate into results.
Where action items were simple tick-boxes, Commitments let you capture the full context: owner, due date, priority level, and labels. Everyone on the team knows who owns what, and by when.
A few things we're particularly excited about:
AI-powered capture. Any text in Popwork that suggests a next step - an answer, a note, a piece of feedback - can now be turned into a Commitment in one click. No more losing things between conversations or copy-pasting across tools.
Built into your weekly flow. Commitments show up at the right moment. When team members fill in their check-in, they're prompted to review open commitments from the previous week. Completed ones automatically flow into achievements. Context carries forward, week over week, without the manual upkeep.
Flexible views. List, kanban boards, or filtered by owner: see your commitments the way that works best for you, whether you're managing your own work or getting a full picture of your team's progress.
A new home widget. A dedicated Commitments widget on your home screen gives you a quick view of what's open this week, so nothing slips through the cracks.
Individual questions: ask the right thing, at the right time
Good managers know that the best check-in question isn't always the same for everyone. That's the thinking behind our new individual questions feature.
Managers can now add a one-off question to any upcoming ritual - asked just once, to a specific team member. You can write your own or let Popwork AI suggest one, personalized based on that person's recent answers and management best practices.
Questions are fully customizable: choose the label, the answer type (text, scale, stars, emojis, word cloud), and the position in the ritual. You can also drag and drop to reorder or delete if plans change.
We also redesigned the question editor in Team settings, giving managers a cleaner interface to manage recurring team questions — including how often each one appears (every time, or once a month).
And for admins: you can now customize system question labels to match your company's tone of voice, straight from My Account > My Company > Labels.

Now available in 5 languages
Popwork just got a lot more global.
Spanish 🇪🇸, Dutch 🇳🇱, and Portuguese 🇧🇷 are now live, joining English and French. Team members can update their preferred language in Settings > My Account > Preferences.
For international companies, this pairs directly with Popwork's smart translation feature: HQ can build management rituals in one language, and every local team gets them instantly in theirs. No duplication, no manual adaptation.
As always, these updates come from conversations with our users - managers and HR teams trying to make their routines a little more intentional, and a little less effortful. Keep the feedback coming.
